Terms of Service

In short

  • A plan lets you use Cotrieve on one Mac, signed in to your Cotrieve account. Cotrieve starts with a 7-day free trial.
  • Use it only on iPhones you own or are allowed to control. You're responsible for what you and your agents do with it, including messages and purchases.
  • Subscriptions renew until you cancel. Lifetime and the passes (one month or six months) are paid once, and a pass doesn't renew by itself. If Cotrieve doesn't work for you, write within 14 days of your first payment for a full refund.

1. These terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Noah General Group Inc. ("NGG", "we") for the Cotrieve app, its plans and this website. By installing Cotrieve or buying a plan, you accept them. If you use Cotrieve for a company, you accept them for that company too.

2. Your licence

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Cotrieve on one Mac at a time, with any iPhones paired to that Mac, for as long as your plan is active (and during the trial). You can move your plan to another Mac from inside the app. Cotrieve is licensed, not sold: you may not copy, resell, sublicense or redistribute it, remove its licence checks, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows that despite this restriction.

3. Your iPhone, your agents, your responsibility

Use Cotrieve only with devices you own or have permission to control, and only in ways that are lawful and follow the terms of the apps and services you use on them. Cotrieve lets software agents act on your phone as you. You are responsible for what you and your agents do with it, including the messages they send and the purchases they make. Cotrieve stops at payment screens and asks before unlocking when you tell it to, but those safeguards don't make us responsible for actions you or your agents take.

4. Payments

Prices are shown on the pricing page before you buy, and Stripe processes the payment. Subscriptions (monthly or yearly) are charged at the start of each period until you cancel, which you can do at any time in Settings › Account; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Lifetime is paid once, and doesn't expire. The passes sold in yuan, for one month or six months, are paid once and don't renew by themselves; Cotrieve reminds you to renew, and a renewal adds the length you buy to whatever is left. Taxes are added where required. If Cotrieve doesn't work for you, write to us within 14 days of your first payment and we'll refund it in full.

5. Other services

Cotrieve works with Apple's developer tools and services from other companies, such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Cursor, Cloudflare, Stripe and TypeSafe. Their terms apply to your use of them, and we aren't responsible for them. Cotrieve isn't made, sponsored or endorsed by Apple. iPhone, Mac, macOS and Xcode are trademarks of Apple Inc.

6. Updates and changes

Active plans include updates. We may change or stop features; if we stop selling Cotrieve, active plans keep working for the period you paid for. We may update these terms and will post the new version here with its date; changes that matter to you are emailed to plan holders before they apply.

7. Disclaimer

Cotrieve depends on Apple's software, your iPhone, your network and the AI services you choose, none of which we control. It's provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, NGG isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data or purchases, arising from your use of Cotrieve or of agents through it. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for Cotrieve in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

9. Ending

You can stop using Cotrieve and cancel at any time. We may end your licence if you break these terms, with notice where we can give it. Sections 3, 7, 8 and 10 survive the end of your licence.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and of Canada that apply there, and the courts there have jurisdiction, except where the law of your home country gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
